Applications for Lessons for Auschwitz CPD for Teachers are now open!

Teachers from state secondary schools and colleges across England are invited to take part in our teacher-exclusive Lessons from Auschwitz Project. 

This three-part professional development course is for Key Stage 3, 4 or 5 teachers from any subject area. Teachers from any state school or college can apply for our CPD Project taking place from London.

Further Development
Opportunities for your teaching colleagues to benefit from a continuing professional development session, delivered by a member of the Trust's Education Team in your school or college, free of charge.


All participants will be receiving a copy of our publication, The Holocaust: A Guide for Students and Teachers, which is also available for download. Participants will also gain access to subject-specific guides on teaching the Holocaust.

Cost
A total deposit of £100 must be paid with the application
to secure your place, £41 of which will be refunded upon completion of all parts of the project. Thus, the final cost is £59 per participant – this fee covers all course materials as well as the flights to and from Poland for the day visit. 

Travel Subsidy
We aim to make the Lessons from Auschwitz Project as financially accessible as possible. Limited funding is available to offset additional costs of participation to those schools which demonstrate a need for additional financial assistance. Please complete and return our Travel Subsidy Application Form by the deadlines below if you require a travel subsidy.

Key Deadlines

Please ensure you submit your school's application by Friday 14th February. Each participant will need to submit their own application. 

You will then be sent a link to complete your passport and medical registration, which must be completed by Monday 24th February.
