Jewish Resistance during the Holocaust

This lesson addresses the under-studied theme of Jewish resistance during the Holocaust. In so doing, it highlights one of the central themes of Exploring the Holocaust: re-humanising the victims. Through a series of case studies, it encourages students to consider the obstacles to resistance and to reflect on the diverse ways in which Europe's Jews nonetheless sought to resist the Nazis.
