MBE for the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Chief Executive
Karen Pollock, Chief Executive of the Holocaust Educational Trust, has been made an MBE in HM Queen’s New Year’s Honours List. Commenting on the award, Karen said: “I am absolutely thrilled that the work of the Holocaust Educational Trust, to which I've been privileged to contribute, has been recognised in this way. This is a tribute to my dedicated colleagues at the Trust as well as the incredible and inspirational Holocaust survivors I have the honour to work with.”
Lord Janner of Braunstone QC, Chairman of the Holocaust Educational Trust, said: “Karen’s MBE is a well deserved honour for a splendid servant of the community – and a real tribute to the extraordinary work of the Holocaust Educational Trust in ensuring that young people understand what happened during that darkest time and that it must never happen again.”
