After our initiative to recognise those British citizens who risked their lives to help Jews during the Holocaust, we are delighted that the Prime Minister has announced the creation of a special award.

This announcement was confirmed by Liam Byrne MP, Minister for the Cabinet Office, during a cross-party debate in Westminster Hall (Read the transcript from the debate or Watch the footage from the debate). The exact details of the award will be confirmed following a consultation between the Heroes' families, the Trust and cross-party Members of Parliament.
