First Minister addresses Holocaust Educational Trust Student Ambassadors
Over 100 Holocaust Educational Trust’s Lessons from Auschwitz Project student participants gathered in Edinburgh at an event to honour their impressive and inspirational follow-up work. The event, held at the City Chambers in Edinburgh, was address by First Minister of Scotland, Rt Hon Alex Salmond.
The Holocaust Educational Trust Delivers First Think Equal Project in Northern Ireland
Following the successful launch of Think Equal in England last year, the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) will be delivering its first Think Equal project in Northern Ireland at Grosvenor Grammar School in Belfast on 22nd and 23rd June 2009. Throughout the duration of the two day programme, 160 students aged 13 and 14 will explore the dangers of prejudice, racism and intolerance in a unique programme developed by HET.

HET delight at Gordon Brown announcement of groundbreaking Holocaust education training fund
On 17th April 2007 the Rt. Hon Gordon Brown announced that the Treasury and The Pears Foundation will each contribute £250,000 in a three year commitment to the Holocaust Educational Trust to administer teacher training
