Over 100 Holocaust Educational Trust’s Lessons from Auschwitz Project student participants gathered in Edinburgh at an event to honour their impressive and inspirational follow-up work. The event, held at the City Chambers in Edinburgh, was address by First Minister of Scotland, Rt Hon Alex Salmond.

London School Marks Holocaust Memorial Day with Visit from Chief Rabbi and Holocaust Survivor
The Chief Rabbi, Sir Jonathan Sacks, together with Holocaust survivor, Mala Tribich, participated in an assembly at the Lady Margaret School in Parson’s Green on 27th January. The visit was organised by HET to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day.

UK Faith Leaders Join Students on the Lessons from Auschwitz Project
On 13th November the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams and the Chief Rabbi, Sir Jonathan Sacks, were joined by representatives from all the major religious communities on the Trust’s Lessons from Auschwitz Project one day visit to the former Nazi camps of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
